How to Optimise Your Business Profile on Pegs

Optimizing your business profile is essential for building a strong presence within the app, attracting new customers, and keeping your existing, loyal followers engaged.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to enhance your profile for maximum visibility and engagement.
1. Add a High-Quality Banner Image
Your banner image is one of the first things customers will see when browsing the Businesses tab and when they visit your profile. Choose a high-quality image that represents your brand or products effectively. This could be your storefront, your team, or a product that represents you. Make sure it’s visually appealing and gives a good first impression.
- Navigate to Settings
From the home screen, tap the Settings wheel in the upper left corner. - Edit Profile
Tap 'Edit Profile' beneath your profile photo. Then tap the 'Edit' icon on the banner image (if you don't have one, we will give you a default fallback image of the Pegs app). - Choose an Image
Tap the camera icon to take a photo or select a photo from your library. - Don't forget to save
Once you've either taken or selected a photo, tap the 'Save' icon to the left of the camera icon. To remove, tap the X.
2. Upload a Clear Profile Image
A recognisable profile image helps customers identify your business quickly. This can be your logo or a professional photo that clearly represents your business. Ensure the image is sharp and high-resolution to make it look professional.

From the home screen, tap the Settings wheel in the upper left corner. - Your profile picture
Tap your profile picture and select either 'Take Photo' or 'Choose from Library' to upload a new one. - All set
This will automatically save once you've either taken or selected a photo. To delete, tap the profile image again and select 'Remove Current Photo'.
3. Fill Out All Your Business Details
Having complete and accurate business details is crucial for gaining the trust of potential customers and providing them with the information they need when they're learning about you for the first time.
To do this, navigate to Settings and select 'Business Details' from the menu options.
- Business Description: Write a clear and engaging description that explains what your business offers. Highlight what makes your business unique and showcase the breadth of what you offer.
- Website Link: Link your business website to provide customers with more information or an additional way to engage and learn more about your services.
- Business Phone Number: Make sure your phone number is up to date so customers can contact you directly.
- Business Address: If you have a physical location, include your business address so customers can easily find you. This is particularly important for local searches through the map feature from the Businesses tab.
- Note you must toggle ON 'Show Address in App?' if you wish your business to be found on the map view.
